Cycling vacation on Rügen & Usedom

Look forward to a cycling vacation on Rügen, Hiddensee and Usedom. Lots of sea, white beaches, the Bodden's own variety of flora and fauna and the lovingly restored old towns of the Hanseatic cities of Stralsund and Greifswald await you. Cycle through romantic, but also historical places and visit the imperial spas with their impressive piers. This bike tour is well suited for everyone, but you should bring a little basic condition.

Day 1 Arrival in Stralsund
The Hanseatic city of Stralsund, located on the strait opposite Rügen, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It attracts its old town with the town hall, Wulflamhaus and Old Market.

Day 2 Stralsund - Wittow, 20-38 km / 12-24 mi + ferry trip
The day begins with a boat trip to Hiddensee. Enjoy the endless sandy beaches and colorful heath on the almost car-free 19 km² small island. In the afternoon drive to Rügen with the possibility of a small bike tour to Cape Arkona.

Day 3 Wittow - Bergen, 35-67 km / 22-42 mi
The chalk cliffs with the 118 meter high Königsstuhl are the landmark of Rügen. Bike tour via Sassnitz and Mukran to Bergen. If you still want, we recommend a detour to the fashionable seaside resort of Binz.

Day 4 Bergen - Greifswald, 45-51 km / 28-32mi + ferry trip
Today you cycle first to Puttbus, the white rose town with Italian flair and at the same time the oldest seaside resort on Rügen. By ferry back to the mainland and bike tour to the Hanseatic and university town of Greifswald.

Day 5 Greifswald - Imperial Baths, 50-57 km / 31-35 mi
Train ride to Anklam. From there, bike ride to the sunny island of Usedom, surrounded by three bodies of water. Enjoy how the wind gently pulls through the dunes, the salty smell of the sea and the sound of the screeching seagulls over the Baltic Sea.

Day 6 Imperial Baths - North Usdeom, 22-34 km/14-21 mi
The longest beach promenade along white sandy beaches, unique seaside resort architecture and imposing piers await you. Along the steep coast you cycle to the north of the island.

Day 7 North Usedom - Stralsund, 41-60 km / 25-37 mi
Bike tour via Wolgast, the "Gateway to Usedom" to Greifswald. The many ships in the large museum harbor spread a maritime flair. Alternatively by ship from Peenemünde. Continue by train to Stralsund.

Day 8 Return or Extension
