Day 1 Arrival in Sønderborg
Immerse yourself in Danish culture and visit one of Jutland's oldest royal castles, Sønderborg Castle.

Day 2 Sønderborg - Åbenrå, approx. 40 km / 25 mi
The first cycle tour takes you across the Sundewitt peninsula to your first stage destination: Åbenrå, known for its old harbour and long sandy beach.

Day 3 Åbenrå - Christiansfeld, 50-75 km / 31-47 mi
In Haderslev, a medieval town with many cafés and an old reservoir, Hygge awaits you. You’ll then either take the direct route by cycling inland, or follow the Baltic Sea Cycle Route via Hejlsminde to Christiansfeld.

Day 4 Christiansfeld - Middelfart, 45-65 km / 28-40 mi
Koldinghus Castle towers high above Kolding. You’ll get to decide which route you want to follow today. Depending on your mood, you can cycle through fields, meadows, forests or along the coast. You’ll reach Middelfart by crossing the Little Belt.

Day 5 Middelfart - Odense, 55-65 km / 34-40 mi
With a bit of luck you might spot porpoises on the beach! Today's stage takes you through the picturesque landscape of Funen.

Day 6 Odense - Fåborg, approx. 50 km / 31 mi
You’ll cycle along a somewhat hilly route today, but you’ll be rewarded with a stop in Fåborg. With its narrow, cobblestone streets, it’s one of Denmark's oldest and most idyllic small towns.

Day 7 Fåborg - Sønderborg, 35-45 km/22-28 mi + boat trip
Your last tour takes you first to Bøjden. There you board the ferry towards Als and then cycle back to the starting point of your cycle tour, Sønderborg.

Day 8 Departure or Extension
The tour ends after breakfast. If you like, extend your cycle tour around the Little Belt.

• If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.
