Bike tour on Rügen

A bike tour on Rügen means fresh sea air, impressive coastal landscapes, beaches with fine white sand and historical places. Cycle through romantic, but also historical places, visit the nature reserve and the national park, the chalk cliffs and Cape Arkona. Day 1 Arrival in Stralsund
The Hanseatic city of Stralsund, located on the strait opposite Rügen, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It attracts its old town with the town hall, Wulflamhaus, Old Market and the city gates.

Day 2 Stralsund - Seaside Resorts, 50-71 km / 31-44 mi
The day begins with a bike tour through the south of Rügen to Putbus. Before the "Rasende Roland" takes you to the seaside resorts, it is worth experiencing the hustle and bustle in the harbor of Lauterbach.

Day 3 Seaside Resorts - Sassnitz, 20-77 km / 12-48 mi
Today is characterized by forested heights like in the German low mountain range only with a view of the Baltic Sea - this is impressive from the Granitz hunting lodge. Along the beach you cycle from Binz to Mukran.

Day 4 Sassnitz - Wittow, 40-69 km / 25-43mi
Ride to the landmark of the island of Rügen: the chalk cliffs surrounded by beech forests. Back on the pedals, the view of Cape Arkona soon becomes clear.

Day 5 Wittow - Stralsund, 20-34 km / 12-21 mi, boat trip
Bike tour to Breege. From there you go by boat to Hiddensee. Enjoy the endless sandy beaches and colorful heath on the almost car-free 19 km² small island. In the afternoon drive back to Stralsund.

Day 8 Return or Extension
